This recipe is off.
You forgot the triple sec and amaretto and it should be peach (usually SoCo), not orange. 1 shot vodka 1 shot light rum 1 shot gin 1 shot triple sec 1 shot Southern Comfort® peach liqueur 1 shot amaretto almond liqueur 1 shot grenadine syrup 1 dash sweet and sour mix 1 splash beer

Many different recipes
I used to get this drink about 20 years ago. Every bar made it differently, but most were like the first recipe. I never had one with SoCo or amaretto in it though. Some served the beer in a short glass on the side so you could add it as you drank the cocktail. The first time I had one I was surprised at how how much it tasted like Hawaiian Punch and ended up drinking eight of them not realizing the power of them...it was a fun night to say the least.
