Must use Vernor's!
Vernor's is a ginger soda, tastes way different from normal ginger ale. This drink needs to be done with Vernor's. In fact, calling it a "captain's ale" (implying it's a ginger ale) is misleading. Tastes kinda crappy with ginger ale. Tastes awesome with ginger soda.
