Whiskey Sour drink recipe

seems like it should probably be less than 0.5 cup lemon juice...1/2 cup is quite a bit...the drink is very sour when mixed with these proportions

Whiskey Sour
I also cut down on the Lemon Juice and added extra sugar by making Simple Syrup. I added a good brand of whiskey (Woodford Reserve) some ice cubes, shook it, and it is delicious. Is a good cocktail, to go with my lamb stew, as the fall weather joins us.

It should be the juice of half of a lemon, not half a cup lemon juice
