Warm Drinks for Cold Winter Days By Russ Cobbe For the Northern Hemisphere we are in the dead of winter with snow outside along with cold temperatures. We sit inside and dream of the warmer weather coming. Whether after spending time outside doing a winter activity or while dreaming, a nice hot drink chases the winter blahs away. There are a wide variety of alcoholic drinks that are nice and toasty warm. Here is a selection of popular ones: Snow Warmer Recipe 8.0 oz. Hot chocolate 2.0 oz. Rumplemintz Make some hot chocolate...add a shot of Rumplemintz(or more if you like) fights the cold of the slopes or whatever cold there is.... enjoy. Hot Toddy Recipe 1.0 oz. Bourbon 1.0 each stick Cinnamon 3.0 whole Cloves 1.0 each slice Lemon 1.0 tsp. Sugar 4.0 oz. boiling Water Put sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and lemon slice into a mug. Add 1 oz. boiling water, stir and let stand for about 5 minutes. Add bourbon and the rest of the water and stir well. Dust top with ground nutmeg. Adult Hot Chocolate Recipe 1.0 cup hot Chocolate 1.0 whipped Cream 1.5 oz. Peppermint Schnapps Pour peppermint schnapps into a mug and add hot chocolate.
